Chasing Waterfalls

Summer is in full swing here in Rochester, NY! The weather has been (knock on wood) absolutely gorgeous this past week. One of my absolute favorite things to do is to hike to some waterfalls and take photos. Even though I’m always up for some outdoor activities, I typically do this more in the late spring, summer and fall. Anytime I’m traveling, I research waterfalls in the area and always add it into the itinerary. Just last month we had planned a weekend getaway to Ithaca and of course it didn’t disappoint!

Over the last year, I’ve been getting back into shooting on film and back into the dark room to make prints. I’ll be holding an open studio in September to feature my work and there’s definitely some great waterfall shots in there. Stay tuned to my socials for more on that.

I’ve also started a ‘Monday Mailer’ that goes out, you guessed it, on Mondays! Haha.
